The Mac App Store is finally here! If you are running Snow Leopard you can get it through Software Updates on your Mac now. There are more than 1,000 apps available already.
Starbucks’ New Logo
My favorite coffee company is starting the year with a new logo. Starbucks Coffee’s new logo drops the company’s name and the circle around the iconic siren.
More and more brands are simplifying their identity, and removing their names from their logos. Will this be the trend this year? We’ll see.

This is amazing. I’m seriously considering investing on this. My love for simple designs and clean lines is totally represented in these products.
I don’t see any correlation between success and color, but this infographic by COLOURlover is still pretty amazing.
One thing that caught my attention; purple is not among the top colors. Why is this? I’ll still love purple anyway.
Font Preview, Part of Google Font Directory
As noted earlier by Mashable, Google’s Font Directory now has an awesome font previewer that makes web type customization ridiculously easy. The current font selection isn’t exactly to die for, but it’s definitely something worth checking out.
iPhone 4 CAD Drawings
Apple made their CAD drawings available for case designers, but Core77 took it to another level. They overlaid the CAD drawings over the product photos, and here are the results. Loves it!
